Well over a thousand pounds was raised for MacMillan Cancer Support at Fengate on Sunday afternoon as seven people - including three players from the Girls' Academy - "braved the shave" by losing all of their hair.
On top of that, Mollie Steels and Shannon Fowler from the under-18 girls' team donated their long hair to the Little Princess Trust which makes wigs from real hair for young girls with cancer as well.
A collecting box will stay on the bar for the next few weeks for anyone who fancies adding to the total raised in aid of a very good cause.
