Boro legend - John Sismey is this years clubman of the year

The clubman of the year award was presented to John Sismey yesterday by club president Andrew Burgess. This is in recognition of many years of service as a player, coach and administrator. John was a prolific winger who has scored more tries than any other player in the history of the club. He also has coached the academy over recent years. John helped with the organisation of Boro touch and was responsible for the clubs O2 touch centre status. He also organises the annual former players lunch. These are just a few of the things that John brings his endless energy and enthusiasm to.

"John is an incredible individual and is everything that is good about rugby. We are lucky to have people like him involved in Peterborough Rugby Club" , said club president Andrew Burgess.
