Its time to make a stand
for Mental Health
& Wellbeing

Rugby union is more than just a physical game; it is a sport built on teamwork, resilience, respect and support. While physical fitness and performance are important, mental health and wellbeing are equally essential to enjoying the game and reaching your full potential.

Players, coaches, officials and supporters can all experience mental health challenges, whether through the pressures of competition, injury, special educational needs, learning differences, selection, performance expectations or balancing rugby with everyday life. Creating an environment where everyone feels supported, valued and comfortable talking about their mental health is vital to building a positive rugby community.

This page aims to raise awareness, share useful resources and encourage open conversations about mental health and wellbeing in rugby union. Because looking after your mind is just as important as looking after your body — on and off the pitch.

In addition, this page will also focus on special educational needs (SEND) and learning differences, offering up to information and support for all members.
