What an opening game for the 2024/2025 season.
From the on-set, Peterborough ladies were ready for this game. The tries came thick and fast in the first half. The attacking play was well drilled and 8 tries were scored by Maddy Buckland, Cheryl Smith (x2), Penny Woods (x2), Laura Fulcher, Annie Fenton, Jaz Devereux. Four tries converted by Maddy Buckland.

Second half saw much of the same, strong runners penetrating the opposition defence with tries from Jess Pearce, Katlin Anders, George Nicholls, Emma Harlley and Penny Woods. Conversions by Maddy (x2) and George Nicholls.
