What a way to mark international women's day, a club full of women playing rugby. Not only was there the women's xv against Sudbury but the under 14 girls were also at home for their fixture. It was a great day for rugby.
I know that every team probably says it, but the score didn't reflect the game. It was a hotly contested game and Boro were making Sudbury work for their tries. With the score at 0-12, Boro saw George Nicholls over the line to score out wide (5 - 12). Sudbury scored again shortly before halt time (5 - 19).
The second half saw lots of strong attacking play but just not enough to get over the line. Sudbury capitalised on any errors and got the ball out wide to the super speedy winger. Final score 5 - 64.
