Three is the magic number, or did we go to the Card Factory ?
The Juggers travelled to Deeping for their first game of the season, and lost a tight game. For the first twenty minutes we were on fire, defensively sound, the pack bossing it and the backs showing good hands. Colesy got the first try from a maul, and Tony H the second as the backs passed it down the line, but only after the opposition were committed. We allowed the hosts back into it, and turned round at half time down 17 - 10.
A quick shuffle and we were off again. Chris got carded for being off his feet in a ruck, then the first born of the BBGT got a card for a high tackle (not the shenanigans that followed) and Squeak for cynically stopping a quick penalty. We conceded another couple of tries during the excitement, but finished well when Damo crashed over.
Final score Dinos 27 Juggers 15.
Before the court, the three miscreants, and Pete got 'awarded' Plank of the Week.
Great game to start the season and blow the cobwebs away.
