Biggleswade and Royston (BigRoy) have combined forces to complete their fixtures for the rest of the league so it was game on. BigRoy was a 20-man squad but P'Boro had a solid 15 players are were ready to maintain their top of the league position.
Boro set the scene with early tries from Poppy (x2) and Sarah. Maddy getting the conversions. BigRoy weren't making it easy for P'Boro to get through and the next score wasn't until the end of the first half when Cody managed to zig-zag through the defence to score under the posts.
Half time score 0 - 24
Who knows what was said at the half-time talk but BigRoy came out on fire, and were the first to score. The second half was a well contested arm wrestle between the two teams until our prop, Sav, was able to power over the line in the final minute of the game.
