It is with great sadness that we inform our members of the passing of our former president, Derek Watkins, on 7th January. Derek was a warm, welcoming, and popular president whose contributions to the club are fondly remembered. Although his health prevented him from attending the club in recent years, his legacy lives on through the memories shared by our older members and associates.
Once we have details of the funeral arrangements, we will inform our members. In the meantime, Ian Hamilton, our Club Secretary, is in contact with Derek’s family and is happy to assist anyone wishing to reach out.
