Tomorrow (Saturday 17 January) one our mini members mums (Dini Heron) is taking on an intense 24-hour running challenge to raise awareness and funds for maternal mental health β€” a cause that affects not just mums, but dads, partners, and whole families.
πŸ“ Peterborough Rugby Club
⏰ Starting at 8am
πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ 72km to run
πŸ’ͺ How the challenge works:
Starting at 0800 Dini will be running 1km with each group, supporting and encouraging everyone as they complete the remaining 4km together. With a goal of collectively completing as many 5km runs as possible over the daytime.
Then, from 8pm throughout the night, she will take on the toughest part β€” running 5km on the hour, every hour, all night long herself.
πŸ’™ How you can get involved:
Donate – (Or Not a runner?) You can still support this amazing cause via Dini’s JustGiving page:
πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ Run with Dini – Join in for as many or as few runs as you like, either in person at Peterborough Rugby Club or remotely
πŸ“± Run remotely via Strava – Take part from anywhere by sharing your Strava details with Dini
πŸ“’ Please share this post to help spread the word
We are so proud of Dini … this is a massive challenge but she is one very determined lady and with your support and encouragement she WILL hit her target !
