Remembering Jamie Hayes

It’s with the heaviest of hearts that we share the passing of Jamie, a teammate, and much loved member of the Peterborough Rugby Club family.

Jamie was a special person, he had a big heart, a wicked sense of humour, and a loyalty that ran deep. Whether it was on the pitch, at the bar, or just catching up around the club with friends, he always brought laughter, warmth, and friendship with him.

It’s so hard to make sense of such a loss, and our thoughts are with his family, his friends, and everyone who shared good times with him here at Peterborough Rugby Club and the other local community rugby clubs he was connected with.

In moments like this, we’re reminded how important it is to look out for one another to talk, to listen, and to reach out if things ever feel too much. You’re never alone, even when it feels like it.
